A Typical Experience w/ Sloped
What does a typical project look like with Sloped?
Sloped has a network of business members looking for people with professional-level SketchUp and LayOut skills.
When a business has a project that needs the help of a freelancer, they provide the details (budget, scope, timelines, etc.), then we hand-pick the IP (Independent Professional) that we think is best suited for the job. There is no competition and no bidding, just negotiation with the business.
Our business partners normally enjoy three types of reltionships with freelance professionals:
Projects with Set Budgets and Timelines.
Projects with set Hourly Rates and Adjustable Timelines and Scopes of Work. *
Long Term Relationships built on set Hourly Rates that can include multiple projects over extended periods of time. **
If you are matched with any Sloped Partner Business, you will be added to a recently submitted contract by that business where you can interact with the business, ask them questions and negotiate the scope or the fees (if you choose). Once everyone is happy with the terms of the contract the work can commence.
All invoicing is handled by the Independent Professional thru our custom form that initiates a payment response from our business and a payout to the freelancer when payment is recieved.
Pretty simple. We try to stay out of the way and let you work and communicate in a professional manner and when the time comes to submit invoices, that process is intuitive and produces immediate results (read: money in your bank)
